Yoga found Rachel during college upon moving to a new house and finding herself near a studio. All it took was the free week and she was hooked - on the intensity of the heat, the physical benefits, the relief from life's stresses, and the community and culture of yoga. “During my first class, I had a lightbulb moment that all I needed was within me the whole time, and that my body was capable of things I never would have realized without guidance and instruction.” Less than a year later she enrolled in her first Teacher Training program. She currently holds her 200 hour Power Yoga, 80 hour Hot Fusion, 80 hour Yoga Sculpt, and 50 hour CorePower Yoga Extensions Program. She loves that when doing yoga, the focus is on the student’s practice - no measurement or competition against others. “The yoga community encourages you in your practice, and becomes a source of friendship and connection to the town off the mat.” She teaches all styles, but you can catch her mostly teaching Vinyasa. From her class, Students can expect to feel empowered, mindful, and sweaty! You can expect fun music, hands-on adjustments, and a worthy challenge.
